I started taking pictures, still a university student, I dedicated part of my time to the humanistic report and to the social survey first in Argentina and after in Europe, after studies of photography. Following the work of some masters like André Kertész, and Thomas Struth.
In 1984 he returned to freelance photography in Europe and concentrated on color work and Architecture photography, which he had been producing in the early 1970s, Alejandro Sala's photographs have been included the exhibition at the Suter & Suter architect studios, in Basel Switzerland. Exhibitions "The Object", about the urban relationschip between the city and t The Center Georges Pompidou.
In 1990s only later, architectural studies progressively became more space in his photography turning Alejandro to work on the relationship between city and urban space. The cities' photographs of Alejandro Sala, are the fruit of man's work, the result of the social and economic transformations of the era industrial and post-industrial.
The documentary photographs are notable for their variation in the subject. The images reproduce the urban complexity through an analytical look and are inspired by the documentary images of Walker Evans.
